Here you can find a full list of all the COBs, agents, breeds, and various other goodies I've made for all three games. Click the pictures to download them. Feel free to re-host my stuff elsewhere as long as you give me credit, and link back if possible.
These modifications were designed on the GOG Albian Years and Exodus versions of the games, on Windows, with the games installed in the documents folder (i.e. not a split installation). I make no guarantee that any of them will work if you've got different circumstances.
Creatures 1
COBs
Better Bees and HivesAn improved version of the official Bees and Hives update. Makes the hive consistent with other vendors that feed on push, and reclassifies the bees as a new "pest" object type. Two versions of the COB are included to allow you to choose whether roaming bees have eyes like the ones at the hives.
Cheese TrayThis plate of infinite cheese sits on the table in the kitchen. Creatures can push it to eat a piece of cheese, or you can click it to generate a piece.
Underground MushroomsThese edible mushrooms grow in the cellar under the incubator. They're somewhere between carrots and lemons in terms of nutrition, and contain a small amount of cough medicine.
Hootch HiderThis COB hides the hootch vendor so it doesn't confuse creatures who try to push vendor and get nothing for it.
Reclassified BigtoysReclassifies the bigtoys as normal toys and removes the slap stimulus and fear increase from the jack-in-the-box and heli-toy.
Reclassified RadioReclassifies the radio as music instead of a toy.
Updated Cave FliesSplits the pianola/jukebox updates into a separate injectable and reclassifies the cave flies as a new "pest" object type, like my better bees.
Updated CoconutsA better version of the official coconut COB, this version has full coconuts that are fun to play with instead of painful, and fixes the bug that prevents creatures from eating the pieces.
Updated HerbsMakes herbs invisible when they don't have a sprig to eat, to avoid confusing creatures. Also, you can now click the herbs to drop a sprig that you can carry around, like the ones you can inject from the medical kit.
Updated LemonsRemoves the pain from the lemons and should theoretically fix flying lemons.
Updated Shee Seed LauncherFixes numerous problems with the beelacanth, seeds, and launcher. The beelacanth has been reworked to behave similarly to my updated herbs, and the launcher has been reclassified as a toy and made fun to use, among other changes.
Creatures 2
COBs
Anemone HiderThe anemones are classed as critters but aren't edible, and can therefore confuse aquatic creatures about the edibility of other critters. This quick fix renders the anemone invisible to creatures.
Opal SpongeNeed more food for your aquatic creatures? This COB adds edible sponges to both oceans, which behave as an aquatic equivalent of the mushroom patch in the incubator room.
Extra Masham Berries (Coconuts)Adds some masham berries to the left side of the island so creatures who end up over there don't starve. Like the existing ones, these will respawn.
Push To EatI've observed that creatures have a strong preference for pushing rather than eating, but this doesn't actually work. This fix adds scripts to the fruit, food, seeds, roots, and both fishes so that pushing yields the same result as eating.
Better BoatsYou're gonna need a better boat. Replaces both boats with C1-style paddlewheels, which have more accessible controls and multiple safety mechanisms to prevent creatures from getting stuck in them.
Safety RailsAdds safety rails to the ocean docks. These should make it much harder for creatures to fall off the edge, but still allow access to boats. Note that they've only been tested with my Better Boats and not the original boats, though I believe they shouldn't have any problems.
Move to OceanInstantly move the selected creature into the light ocean. Great for lazy Mernorn owners or people using safety rails.
Breeds
Frog Norns V3People have made fixed Frog Norn sprite sets before, such as Nornenmeister's V2 set, but as far as I can tell, this is the most complete version yet created. Females have completely distinct coloration instead of merely recolored eyes, the tail sprites have been improved, and old and senior sprite sets have been included. Additionally, the ATTR files have been replaced with a slightly modified version of the Hebe Norn files, to eliminate articulation errors and crossbreeding weirdness.
Lop Ear Norns (Norn Slot V)Based on the Lop Norn art Wafuru used to do, this entirely new breed sports floppy ears, vivid coloration, and long, lion-like tails. Lop Ear Norns are slightly more skittish than other breeds, but should still get along well with most other creatures. Released with permission from Wafuru.
Creatures 3
Tools
Mutation FinderHacky and inelegant, but functional, this tool consists of a windows batch script and a python 3.8 program designed to quickly find new mutations in creatures. Simply point it at the .gen files of the parents and child, and it will automatically run the official gendiff.exe tool and parse the results into a mutation report for you. You must have Python 3.8 installed to use this tool.
Agents
Calm Balm VendorA smart vendor that dispenses Calm Balms, but won't flood your world with them! The vendor can be manually activated, but it also responds automatically to creatures expressing anger. It can only vend so many potions in a given amount of time, and won't vend if there are too many existing potions nearby. You must have the official Calm Balm from the Hardman Norn pack installed, and injected at least once before you inject the vendor; the potion sprites and scripts are not included.
Honey PotHoney was a staple of creatures' diets in C1 and C2, but was conspicuously absent from C3/DS. This honey pot restores honey to its rightful place! The pots contain three bites of fatty honey, and can be refilled at a beehive, stinger pod, or stinger nest.
Toxic BrambooMade to fill a gap in the Toxic Norn's natural diet, this toxic variant of bramboo produces berries classed as "manky" and laced with glycotoxin. It comes with an agent to remove normal bramboo from the world if desired, and a quirky cookie recipe (distinguished from normal bramboo cookies by its red base).
